Baby, Come Back: Samsung has announced that its Developer Conference will return to San Francisco from 27 – 28 April 2016. The first (and last) Developercon was held in 2014. Find all of the details here.
By Any Other Name: The IIR’s Insightech conference will now be called TMRE (The Market Research Event) Next. It will be held May 23 – 25 in Los Angeles and will focus on “the new face of consumer insights”. Informa’s conference, formerly called LTE World Summit, will now go by 5G World. Taking place from 28 – 30 June in London, 5G World will bring together 4000+ “telecom operators, solution providers and IoT specialists, to help evolve networks to achieve the 2020 vision.”
Lunchtime Learning: TechCrunch Disrupt took place earlier this week in London. Watch the highlights from this year’s events as well as previous Disrupt sessions here you can even see the Hackathon presentations.
Street Fight in London: Street Fight Magazine has partnered with SIINDA, the leading organization for local tech companies in Europe, to create a new event called LOCALCON. This conference will focus on the opportunities and challenges of local search, commerce and marketing in the European market. Best of all, the event will be held at the Chelsea Football Stadium in London from April 20 – 22!
