New Global Expansions: After three years of delivering an investment-driven programme, the InnovaBRICS & Beyond Conference has expanded its content and rebranded to become the Global Expansion Summit. Taking place from 17 – 18 October in London, the reinvented event will cover the global impact of technology and digital transformation with a focus on three key sectors: ICT, Financial Services, and Business services/BPO. Code Commences Commerce Conversation: Re/code has announced the newest addition to their Code conference series line up: Code/Commerce. These three one-night events will take place throughout the country, highlighting “the intersection of technology and commerce.” The first in this series will take place in conjunction with the ShopTalk Conference in Vegas next month. The second Code/Commerce event, will also be in Vegas on 25 October and the third will be in December in San Francisco (dates to be announced).
Speaking Opportunity: The National Retail Federation is now accepting speaker proposals for its annual BIG Show, which will happen from 15 -17 January 2017 in New York. Submission requirements and topics of interest may be found here. Speaker proposals will be accepted until 23 May.

Coming Up Next: Next week in London, Cloud Expo Europe will attract more than 15,000 cloud technology suppliers, industry practitioners, and technology evangelists to the ExCeL Centre. The event runs from 12 – 13 April. The tenth addition of the World Retail Congress will bring together leading global retailers under the theme, Attracting and engaging with tomorrow’s consumers. This year’s event will be in Dubai from 12 – 14 April. The World Health Care Congress will attract more than 1,600 attendees to Washington DC from 10 – 13 April to “connect and prepare leaders for health care’s transformation.”
