New Fall Lineup: Previously NewBay Media, LLC hosted an annual Next TV Summit in both New York and San Francisco. In 2018, they have decided to cancel the West Coast conference to focus their efforts on the New York event, which will still be part of TV Week NYC. In addition, they will add another event to their TV Week lineup – the TV Data Summit. According to the organizers, this half day program, happening on 31 October, has “grown out of conversations at Next TV Summit NYC, Advanced Advertising Summit, Programmatic Summit and virtually every event presented by Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News in recent months.” Details on all of the NYC Television Week programming may be found here.
Intersections in Anaheim: The Public Relations Society of America is launching a new conference, focused on the specific needs of communications professionals within the financial, technology, entertainment and sports sectors. Called, InterSections Conference, the event will run from 9 – 10 August in Anaheim, California. Although each industry will have its own learning track on the agenda, attendees will come together for shared general sessions, a roundtable discussion and meal functions. According to the PRSA, this will help attendees “expand their professional circles by networking with all conference participants.”
