Celebration of Innovation: Fast Company has added a new event to their 2021 lineup… the first-ever Most Innovative Companies Summit. This event, running from 9 – 10 March, will “celebrate the Most Innovative Companies in business, provide an early look at major business trends and offer the inspiration and practical insights on what it takes to innovate in 2021.” The agenda will feature both companies and nonprofits that are creating inventive products and processes that “underscore a growing commitment from businesses to take all stakeholders into account as they strive to grow and prosper.”
COVID Conference Planning Tool: After travel restrictions were put in place and live gatherings were eliminated last year, several of the Online News Association’s (ONA) members and partners approached them about ideas to navigate critical decisions about in-person events. The result was a newly-created decision-making framework to monitor the crisis and inform planning. The ONA recently refreshed it based on how the crisis and the response have evolved. Including “considerations about the public health response, government actions, travel advisories, community feedback, peer organizations, social responsibility and financials” this is a fabulous tool for any event planner. Submission Opportunity: Content Marketing World/CMW is planning a live 2021 event (28 September – 1 October; Cleveland), where they expect to feature more than 100 “epic content marketing” sessions and workshops by the leading brand marketers. Have an epic topic you want to share with CMW attendees? First, some important tips. #1: Be sure your presentation is original and hasn’t been delivered elsewhere. #2: Include a speaking example, which can be a link or uploaded file. And #3: For agencies, co-presenting with a client gives you a much better chance of being selected. Most of all, be sure to submit by the 12 March deadline.
Lunchtime Learning: Traction Conf brings founders, c-suite and leaders from the fastest growing companies to share best practices around the subjects of user acquisition, retention and monetization. Like everyone else, they made the most of 2020 switching to a virtual playlist of sessions. This means that these valuable insights are available year-round! Hear Patrick Campbell, Founder & CEO, ProfitWell share Lessons from 20k+ SaaS Companies; Brandon Redlinger, Head of Product Marketing at ringDNA provide The Ultimate Guide to Demand Generation, and Zarina Stanik, who leads events and experiences for Ceros and Bridget Esposito, VP Creative at Prudential explain how to Engage Your Audience in a Virtual World Through Content. Very appropriate.
