AI Conference Combo: The World Summit AI turns five when it returns to Amsterdam in 2021. In celebration of this milestone anniversary, producing organization, Inspired Minds, will make this year’s event into a ‘super summit’ by combining three of their conference brands; World Summit AI (WSAI), Intelligent Health and the inaugural TMinus30. WSAI is “a leading and internationally renowned AI summit gathering the global AI ecosystem of Enterprise, BigTech, Startups, Investors and Science, the brightest brains in AI.” Intelligent Health brings together clinicians, technologists and C-suite executives to consider how AI will revolutionize healthcare in the future. TMinus30 is a new summit, focused on climate and the future of food and agriculture. The Super Summit will take place on 13 – 14 October at the historic Beurs van Berlage in central Amsterdam and will be limited to 1000 people.
The Atlantic Gets Back on Track: The Atlantic Festival has opened registration for its 2021 event which will again be held virtually on 22 – 24, and 27 – 30 September. This year, attendees may select sessions by track. This will help create a more personalized experience. The programme’s five tracks will include: Business & Tech “How are companies, from local small businesses to the largest corporations, innovating and becoming more inclusive?”; Culture “From media to microtrends, what cultural forces are shaping our nation?” Health “How will the world continue to navigate the deadliest pandemic in a century and ensure that health outcomes are more equitable?” Race/Identity/Politics “What is the future of the American idea?” and Climate “How can humanity live on — and save — a warming planet?”
Speaking Opportunity: The Game Developers Conference (GDC) plans to return to San Francisco from 21 – 25 March 2022 but will also have a virtual component. They are now accepting speaker/topic suggestions for lectures, panels, and roundtables as part of GDC Core Concepts, through 31 August 2021. They are seeking submissions from game developers with expertise in any of the following areas: Advocacy, Audio, Business & Marketing, Design, Production & Team Management, Programming, and Visual Arts. The conference will open a second call for submissions for GDC Summits (including VRDC), GDC Masterclasses, as well as the Game Career Seminar from September 7 through October 5, 2021.
