VivaTech Builds Anticipation: In order to build anticipation for VivaTech (June 15 – 18, 2022; Paris) the conference organizers have launched the VivaTech 15’ web series, with virtual session happening on Thursday afternoons that is presented by Journalist & VivaTech Host, Asha Sumputh. The 15 in the name alludes to the 15-minute sessions which will “dive into exciting topics and present killer innovations each week, in the lead up to VivaTech 2022.” The first episode will cover “French Unicorns on the Move” featuring Frédéric Mazzella (Founder and President of BlaBlaCar and Co-President of France Digital). Axios Live in DC: On April 5 Axios will host its inaugural What’s Next Summit based on the newsletter of the same name. The event will spotlight the “innovators making their mark on the future of work, life and getting around.” It will specifically cover 5 key themes: Next Cities, Work Shifts, Electric Everything, Financial Flux and Trending Tech. Speakers and a couple hundred leaders will gather in-person but they have opened virtual registration as well.
Speaking Opportunity: VERGE Electrify will happen on 26 – 27 June online and will focus on “how markets, technology and policy must work together to electrify transportation, buildings and industry — all while creating millions of jobs and cleaning the electrical grid.” The virtual event will bring together leaders from the private and public sectors, utilities, solution providers, investors and startups. They are currently seeking speakers who can “lead informative and thought-provoking conversations, particularly voices that will bring diverse perspectives and solutions focused on electrification.” Submit ideas via their online form by 8 April.
