New I.D.E.A.S: At the inaugural Investing in Digital Enterprises and Assets Summit (I.D.E.A.S.), Coindesk’s event team hopes to focus on future growth marketplaces across the digital economy by bringing together innovators in crypto, digital assets, computing, metaverse, and Web 3 with leaders in traditional finance who are looking invest in these technologies over the next 1-3 years. At Hack is Back: In 2021, the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security, Programming & Drones (SAFCSP) co-organized a new event in the Middle East in association with Black Hat called @Hack. With more than 20,000 visitors over three days in Riyadh in November last year, the inaugural @Hack conference was self-described as “the largest cybersecurity event in the world in 2021.” The success of @Hack inspired the group to rebrand the conference as Black Hat Middle East and Africa. They hope this gathering becomes a “heavyweight in cybersecurity events and infosec training.” They also note in the event brochures to “expect a bigger boost in opportunities across expert trainings, technical workshops and strategic business” in 2022 and beyond.
Speaking Opportunity: ITEXPO is one of the collocated events that comprise the TECHSUPERSHOW, covering “Digital Transformation in all of its forms: UC/UCaaS, Messaging, Collaboration, SD-WAN, Service Provider Solutions, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Contact Center/CX, Video Conferencing, Future of Work, blockchain, SASE and much more.” The annual event for buyers of communications and technology solutions will move back into its regular (14 – 17) February timeframe after being held in June the past couple of years due to the pandemic.
