They focus on women in software development, engineering and IT early or mid-career who are seeking to learn more about how to make it to the next level. DOOH!: In 2023, MediaPost will debut their newest installment of the Insider Summit Series with a three-day event focused on Digital Out-Of-Home. From 22 – 25 February MediaPost will host the DOOH Insider Summit in La Jolla, CA – just outside of San Diego. According to the conference organizers, the programme will “highlight the standout campaigns in the space and educate on how to effectively incorporate DOOH into a larger media mix.” The event will also include the group’s trademark community building, offering attendees the chance to get to know “the key players in the space on a deep professional and personal level.”
Speaking Opportunity: GDC (Game Developers Conference) Summits and Game Career Seminar Call for Submissions are now open through 7 October. GDC Summits are curated deep dives into specific pre-determined topics, covering a comprehensive range of game development disciplines. All Summits take place on Monday (20 March) and Tuesday (21 March) of GDC week (20 – 24 March 2023). The Game Career Seminar is a one-day program designed for students and individuals interested in learning how to build a career in the video game industry. It will be held on Friday 24 March 2023. Lunchtime Learning: Last week we shed light on the new joint conference between SkyBridge Alternatives/SALT and iConnection in Singapore in November, but the former – created by Anthony Scaramucci in the depths of the 2009 financial crisis – also recently wrapped its SALT NYC Conference connecting asset managers and entrepreneurs with investment advisors to address themes like alternative investments, bitcoin, fintech, healthcare, infrastructure, and sustainability. SALT continues to publish new video of sessions from the event, so tune in for talks like one between Pantera Capital CEO & co-CIO Dan Morehead and Real Vision co-founder & CEO Raoul Pal as they discuss the macro-economic environment and the outlook for FinTech and digital assets.
