Finding Fortune in Macau: First held in 2018, Brainstorm Design is self-described as a leading international forum at the intersection of design, business and technology. It was last held in NYC in May of 2022 but will be returning to the conference circuit at the end of this year! Brainstorm Design will be in Macau on 6 December, bringing together designers and brands to discuss how “rapid advances in artificial intelligence, blockchain and other digital technologies are radically transforming the way businesses use design to understand and serve their customers.” See the full agenda here.
CodeForward Bumped Forward: Perhaps nowhere is the impact of generative AI more transformative than in the function of coding and software development. To tackle existential questions in this space, CodeForward will run from 4-6 December in Arlington, VA as a first-time ever generative coding conference. Notably, the organizers of CodeForward bumped up the dates from an originally planned launch in March 2024 out of a time critical demand to bring together developers on the issue.
Submission Opportunity: And due to the condensed planning cycle, the organizers of the CodeForward generative coding event mentioned above, have issued an abbreviated call for proposals that closes 20 October and seek to confirm about 25 sessions on generative coding.
Lunchtime Learning: The Concordia Summit is a public-private sector forum that has been held alongside the UN General Assembly for more than a decade. The event considers “the pivotal role of the private sector in combating disinformation to tackling urgent issues like mental health, environmental sustainability, and emerging technologies” and aims to deliver actionable outcomes. You can now watch the speakers on both of their stages, including Mayor of NYC Eric Adams, Barbara Humpton President and CEO of Siemens USA; Dr. Andrew Steer President & CEO, Bezos Earth Fund; Shannon Thyme Klinger Chief Legal Officer and President, Moderna Charitable Foundation, Moderna Inc and many more.
