AI Hardware Event Expansion: In 2024, the AI Hardware & Edge AI Summit will launch a European edition in London from 18-19 June. It will complement the US flagship summit which has been held successfully in Silicon Valley for the past 6 years. (It will return to San Jose in September). The event will offer a chance for European tech and business leaders to hear more regionally-specific content highlighting AI and ML “in the sectors where Europe shines.” According to the conference organizers, this will include a focus on Manufacturing, Finance and Industrial Edge AI Infrastructure. The conference plans on hosting 350 – 400 senior level decision makers to this first live European gathering.
By Any Other Name: F5’s annual customer event will return live and in-person on 6 – 8 February after being held virtually for the past four years. The conference, which focuses on app security and delivery, is also getting a new name this year – AppWorld (previously known as Agility). AppWorld will again gather IT practitioners and technical decision-makers for three days of learning sessions, tailored networking events, and hands-on trainings, and will be held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.

Conference Organizer Q&A: We recently spoke with Tilda Sander, who is both a founder herself and developing agenda content with the Future Talent Council – a global think tank and member organization that brings employers, educators, universities, and policymakers together to discuss the future of work, education, and related policies. As Global Head of Event for the council, Tilda is responsible for leading this year’s Future Talent Summit Stockholm (14-15 June).
Speaker Strategies: What are you doing differently at The Future Talent Summit in 2024?
The Future Talent Summit is the council’s pinnacle event hosted yearly in June. This year, we are addressing the significant impact of AI on work, education, society, businesses, and jobs. In response to the increased concern about AI’s impact on these topics, we are expanding the audience to include even more relevant corporate representatives, such as Heads of AI, Chief Digital Officers, CIOs, etc. We will also feature four vertical summits: The Future of Business; The Future of Work & HR; The Future of Education; and The Future of Society.
Speaker Strategies: What was the reason for these changes?
Given the Future Talent Council’s extensive experience in work and education and our close relationship with members, we observed AI becoming a top priority for executives, politicians, and education leaders. There was a lack of a suitable forum for interdisciplinary discussions on the impact of AI. Future Talent Summit aims to address this gap and help leaders navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by AI.
Speaker Strategies: How do you determine when/where to host your conference?
Future Talent Council hosts several member events throughout the year, both in-person and virtually. The Future Talent Summit in June, our largest event for the past seven years, will be hosted in Stockholm, Sweden, this year. The unique setting, Nordic light, and the venue connected to the Nobel Prize ceremony add a special touch. As a global organization, we have previously hosted this event in various locations worldwide, including London, Paris, and Dubai.
Speaker Strategies: What do you love most about your job?
I get to meet and interact with brilliant people worldwide, working in diverse industries and organizations. My role allows me to follow my curiosity and learn something new daily. I’m genuinely excited about our mission to shape the future of work in the age of AI—a topic that will impact millions of people, and we get to be a driving force in this rapid development.
