This year’s agenda will cover topics such as strategies for customization across desktop, mobile, and app platforms to attract gaming enthusiasts; How to utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to develop personalized marketing campaigns for individuals; and What are the regulatory requirements shaping the gaming industry?
Speaking Opportunity: Speaking of players, the team producing this year’s Serious Play Conference (12-14 August; Toronto) is seeking presenter ideas now through 15 April. Created to explore the “the transformative power of games, play, and learning,” Serious Play features diverse voices who are working in the education and training spaces. Sessions cover a wide range of play-based best practices from kindergarten, VR simulations for healthcare training, kiosk games about water tables, a museum AR experience, and role-play for corporate training. While the CFP is open until 15 April, it’s best to submit early since speakers are invited on a rolling basis – up to 90% of the agenda is set months in advance.
Conference Manager Q&A: Ruby Goodall, Senior Conference Producer, Kisaco Research which produces the AI Hardware & Edge AI Summit Series which will host a European edition in London from 18 – 19 June 2024. We caught up with Ruby to find out what excites her about the next event and what her team is doing differently this year.
Speaker Strategies: Are you doing anything differently in 2024?
2024 marks many significant developments for the AI Hardware & Edge AI Summit Series, most notably we’re launching our first European iteration of the summit! After 7 years in Silicon Valley with some of the field’s leading AI luminaries discussing all things related to AI infrastructure, we’ve decided to take the show ‘on the road’ and bring the expertise of Silicon Valley to Europe’s doorstep, whilst also highlighting Eurocentric AI issues and industries too.
Speaker Strategies: How did you decide where to host the event?
We’re seeing an ever-growing presence in our audience of enterprise end users, particularly from the manufacturing, automotive, and financial industries, all of which have a strong base in Europe. Many of our leading speakers are based in London, with regional hubs based there also. And our conference team also operates out of London so we’re excited to host the event in our founding city for the first time!
Speaker Strategies: What are the main themes you are focusing on this year?
Efficiency – both in terms of cost and energy – is the big challenge dominating the AI landscape and is the key theme on our agenda. We’re excited to hear from all areas of the industry on how they are tackling these efficiency challenges through use cases, new technologies, and alternative architectures. Our enterprise attendees want to discuss real world examples and lessons learned and share their challenges with peers across the industry.
