Get with the Game Plan: Last week CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, and Boardroom announced that they will be bringing back Game Plan Summit this fall. The 2024 conference will again gather industry leaders, investors, athletes and innovators from the sports and entertainment space and take place on September 10 in Los Angeles, CA. According to the announcement, the 2024 Game Plan Summit will build on the success of last year’s inaugural event, “examining all aspects of investment and innovation in the business of sports. From the power of fandom, to evolving ownership groups, to the growing role that athletes and entertainers play in media.” More information on the September event may be found here.
UNGA Youth Science Summit: The Science Summit at the 79 UN General Assembly (which itself has origins in the Global Science Summit hosted a decade ago by the European Parliament) has announced both dates for the 2024 event: 10 – 27 September – as well as a first-ever Science Youth Parliament on 14 September, designed to empower the next generation of scientific leaders. The Science Summit at UNGA79 will also feature “CEOs for Science” on 16 September, a unique gathering of corporate leaders committed to advancing scientific agendas.

Lunchtime Learning – The 10th anniversary of WIRED Health took place last month at Kings Place, London. The event highlighted “the most exciting and thought-provoking disruptors, scientists, and practitioners making a positive change” in the way healthcare is provided and accessed.
