Leaving the US: When Coinbase Consensus wrapped up a couple of weeks ago in Austin, its leadership announced that the 2025 event would be relocating to Canada after three years in Texas. Consensus 2025 will take place from 14 – 16 May at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The conference chair also announced that there will be a Consensus Asia in 2025, happening in Hong Kong from 18 to 20 February. Since its start in 2015 Consensus (produced by crypto publication CoinDesk) has grown to more than 15,000 attendees. It is one of the longest-running crypto and Web3 events in the world.
Getting Creative with AI: Haymarket Media hosting a new conference in the fall which will be held under the umbrella of its three communications and marketing brands: PRWeek, Campaign and MM+M. The event, called AI Deciphered: Discovering the Potential for Marketers and Communicators takes place on 19 September 2024 at the Convene space on Park Avenue in New York. The event will inform marketing and communications professionals about how to move from experimentation to action in their use of AI. To be most efficient, AI Deciphered will have a unique structure. Opening and closing sessions will be relevant to all attendees, regardless of their discipline, but most of the content will be divided into three specific tracks — one for each of the three hosting brands —public relations (PRWeek), advertising (Campaign) and medical marketing (MM+M) sectors.
