New Market at ShopTalk: Shoptalk Spring (24 – 27 March 2025 in Las Vegas) will include a new section of the show. The New Market will convene marketing and advertising professionals (media buyers; technology solutions; retail media networks; agencies; and next-generation publishers, etc.) to understand the battle for customer attention in an industry that is constantly digitally disrupted. The conference organizers are still developing this section of the show, but it will likely include separate sessions and perhaps even an exhibition space.
NAB NYC Stage: With the U.S. election top of mind for many nationally and abroad, NAB Show New York is recognizing the elephant in the room with a dedicated Election Coverage Summit on its agenda 10 October. The summit will explore “ensuring verified news in the age of AI and social media, discussing how stations are combating misinformation and the rise of deep fakes.” Content will draw on RTDNA’s research into improving trust in political coverage and best practices to address skepticism about media bias. NAB also plans to cover how journalists prepare their audience for the aftermath of the election and stay safe while covering political events.

Self-described as “Europe’s leading digital marketing & tech event,” dmexco is held 18-19 September in Cologne. At the Milken Institute Asia Summit (18-20 September; Singapore), expect senior discussions on critical issues for the region like geopolitical hotspots and the ongoing climate crisis to the complexities of AI and its impact on global workers, firms, and markets. Finally, the Atlantic Festival convenes elected officials, best-selling authors, notable actors, climate scientists, health-care professionals, tech giants, and CEOs when it runs 19-20 September in Washington, DC.
