Submission Opportunity: Money 20/20 has grown into one of fintech’s biggest events, and this year’s European edition is already shaping up to be no exception. Scheduled for 3-5 June at the RAI in Amsterdam, Money 20/20 Europe 2025 is accepting speaker suggestions now through the first week of February. Interested speakers should carefully review the call for content to best understand which topics are of interest to attendees and which session format is the right match for their speaking idea. Thematic pillars will include embedded intelligence, digital DNA, governance 2.0, and beyond fintech. For even more insights on submitting, watch this short and playful application checklist video created by members of the Money 20/20 team and submit no later than 7 February.
Lunchtime Learning: Last month, WIRED’s The Big Interview series came to life on stage in San Francisco. A series of in-depth live conversations around health and wellness, emerging technology, climate and sustainability, privacy and cybersecurity featured notable speakers and moments of insight. If you missed any of the stellar sessions, which included interviews with Jay Graber CEO of Bluesky; Mira Murati technologist and former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at OpenAI; Brian Chesky, cofounder and CEO, Airbnb and, of course, Jensen Huang the founder and CEO of Nvidia, you can still watch them here.
Coming Up Next Week: At the World Economic Forum/WEF Annual Meeting in Davos (20-24 January), economic, business, and political leaders meet to advance solutions to the global challenges we face. In addition to the formal WEF programming, leading media outfits host private, by-invite gatherings that provide leaders with additional networking and visibility opportunities. WSJ, for example, will host a full week of sessions, lunches, and dinners centered around four themes: geopolitics, GenAI, energy transition, and navigating a polarized world. The Axios House recently previewed its WEF programming, while the Bloomberg House promises a variety of luncheon meetings and cocktail hours featuring speakers from UBS, Anthropic, Alphabet, and Stanford Digital Economy Lab. While most conversations happen behind closed doors, Financial Times/FT plans to stream a daily news show live from Davos presented by senior business writer Andrew Hill. Fortune is convening such private events as a CEO dinner, private equity lunch roundtable, and Most Powerful Women Reception, along with topical roundtables on responsible AI and redefining communications leadership. And Economist Impact is running 11 events at WEF in 2025, spanning topics like AI, the Middle East’s new innovation ecosystem, and the social impact of clean water.
